MASTER MICHAEL A. YUHASZ
When is a great time to start Taekwondo?
In our experience and as a former School Teacher we believe that children ages four and up will be able to start and benefit for our Taekwondo lessons. Starting at four, your children are able to participate in our Trial Program, which will allow our instructors to work with them and evaluate their readiness for classes.
How safe is it to learn Taekwondo?
Adirondack Taekwondo is clean, safe, and fun for all ages and abilities. All our classes are supervised by experienced Black Belts. All students are taught at their own pace and proper level. All our classes include a proper warm-up, flexibility training and taught on safe mated flooring. In addition, the use of protective safety equipment is part of our schools philosophy and commitment to our students safety.
Will Taekwondo make my child more aggressive?
No, at Adirondack Taekwondo we help our students understand from the first lesson that Taekwondo students do not punch or kick anyone. That we keep our hands to ourselves. Throughout their training, they are reminded that Taekwondo students stay humble and respectful as they advance in belt rank. Our team of professional Black Belt instructors continue to reinforce that Taekwondo is a form of exercise and self-improvement, not bullying.
